family and friends are important because they are the ones who will see you through your happy and sad moments...they are the ones you can count on when everything turns out wrong and everybody else has turned their backs on you...
you can show how important they are to you...by being there for them yourself...when you see they have problems, try to help them out...respect them and be considerate of their feelings...
